TH!NK Second Edition - CEFR B1 Level Course
This B1 level English course uses TH!NK Second Edition, a comprehensive program designed for teenagers preparing for Cambridge English Qualifications. The course develops critical thinking skills alongside language proficiency through engaging, age-appropriate content.
Students will work through 12 thematic units covering diverse topics including technology, culture, environment, and social issues. Each unit integrates the four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) while building vocabulary and grammar knowledge appropriate for B1 level.
The course specifically prepares students for the B1 Preliminary for Schools exam, incorporating exam-style tasks and strategies throughout the syllabus. By the end of this course, students will be able to understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters, deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling, and produce simple connected text on topics of personal interest.

All essays and papers are due in lecture (due dates are listed on the schedule). No electronic copies will be accepted!
Late work will be deducted 5% per twenty-four hour period that elapses after the due date. Extensions must be requested in advance of the due date.
The final examination is a comprehensive assessment of your B1 level English proficiency and will consist of an essay written during the exam period.
