Credits and Pricing
Tracking Your Credit Usage

How to View Your History

  1. Click your profile avatar at the bottom-left corner, or click the Credits button.
  2. Select “View History” from the menu.
  3. You’ll see a list of conversations with their credit usage.

Note: Each entry in the history represents the credits consumed by that single prompt request.

How can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

You can upgrade your Kuse subscription anytime to unlock more features and credits. Upgrades take effect immediately, and your billing will follow the rules below depending on the type of upgrade.

How to upgrade

  1. Sign in to your Kuse account.
  2. Click on your profile avatar (bottom left corner) or the credits button.
  3. Select “Manage Your Plan”.
  4. Choose the plan tier you want to upgrade to and confirm.

How upgrading charges work

Upgrades follow different rules based on your current plan and your target plan.

Monthly → Monthly
  • Credits:
    • Immediately grant new plan credits
    • Old plan credits expire on the original monthly plan expiry date
  • Charge: Full new monthly price
  • Subscription cycle: Resets from the upgrade date

Monthly → Yearly
  • Credits:
    • Immediately grant yearly plan credits
    • Old plan credits expire on the original monthly plan expiry date
  • Charge: Full new yearly price
  • Subscription cycle: Resets from the upgrade date

Yearly → Yearly
  • Charge: Prorated difference = (new monthly price − old monthly price) × remaining months
  • Subscription cycle: Expiry date unchanged* Credits:* Immediately grant the credit difference = new plan credits − old plan remaining credits
    • Future credits continue on the original yearly cycle date

Example:

  • Current plan: $199.9/year (198,000 credits), expires Dec 31
  • Upgrade on Aug 1 to $499.9/year (495,000 credits)
  • Remaining months: 5 (Aug–Dec)
  • Monthly equivalent: $199.9÷12 = $16.66/month vs $499.9÷12 = $41.66/month
  • Charge now: ($41.66 − $16.66) × 5 = $125
  • Expiry remains Dec 31 (no change)
  • You immediately receive the credit difference (495,000 - remaining credits from $199.9 plan); future credits continue on the existing schedule dates through Dec 31

Notes on calculations:

  • “Remaining months” are counted as full remaining months in your current yearly term.
  • Monthly equivalent prices are used for prorating when upgrading yearly to yearly.

Common related FAQs

  • Will my billing date change after upgrading?
    • Yes for monthly→monthly and monthly→yearly (resets to the upgrade date).
    • No for yearly→yearly (expiry unchanged).
  • What happens to unused credits when I upgrade?
    • New plan credits are added immediately. Unused credits from your old plan expire on the old plan’s expiry date. You will not lose your original credits if you change your plan.
  • Can I downgrade my plan?
    • Downgrading isn’t supported at the moment. We’re working on adding a plan switching feature that will allow you to change plans at your next renewal.
    • If you need a lower plan, you can wait until your current term ends and choose a different plan at renewal.

Validity & Priority

Consumption Priority: Credits are automatically used in the order of those expiring the soonest first.

Expiration Policy: Monthly-plan credits refresh every billing cycle; unused credits expire and do not roll over to the next cycle.

Earning & Refills

Signup Bonus: Receive 1,800 starter credits immediately when you create your account.

Daily Login Reward: Claim 100 free credits each day you log in. The daily reward counter resets every Sunday at midnight (00:00 AM).

Monthly / Yearly Plans: If you’re on a monthly/yearly  plan, your credit balance refreshes automatically at the start of each billing cycle.

Understanding Credit Usage

Credits are only deducted during active processing, dynamically calculated based on resource usage, complexity, and duration — you only pay for what you use:

AI Processing: Intent understanding, task planning, content generation, and intelligent responses.

File Operations: Analysis or transformation of uploaded documents, images, and other media.

Virtual Machines: Executing code and searching the web.

We commit to full refunds for credits consumed by failed tasks due to technical issues on our end, and to continuously optimizing system efficiency to reduce credit consumption per task.

Kuse AI Capabilities and Interaction Methods
How many pages can Kuse read in PDF or Word files?

For PDF files, there’s no special page limit. Kuse can generally handle them well. For Word documents, we recommend keeping them within about 100 pages to ensure smoother parsing and faster response times. We’re also continuously improving support for longer documents, so the experience will keep getting better.

Why does Kuse sometimes fail to read data from Excel files?

Excel support is still being improved, and certain files with complex formatting or very large data may not load perfectly yet. We recommend simplifying the file if possible. Our team is actively optimizing Excel performance, so this experience will continue to get smoother.

Why does Kuse sometimes fail to load information from uploaded content after I opened the project?

This can happen if the file wasn’t fully processed when you first uploaded it, or if the project context didn’t refresh correctly. Simply re-uploading the file or refreshing the project usually fixes the issue.

Why does Kuse sometimes lose context during interactions?

Long-context memory is a common challenge across AI tools, as maintaining consistency over extended interactions can be tricky. Even the best models sometimes struggle with this, but we’re committed to improving Kuse AI’s capabilities. We’re using the most advanced model (ChatGPT5, GPT5 Thinking, Gemini 2.5 Pro), allowing users to switch between them in Kuse 2.0 and continuously refining it to better handle complex, multi-step tasks.

Does Kuse offer presets (prompts) for generating common content like visualization reports, summaries, or graphs/tables?

Kuse AI does not yet offer preset prompts for generating common content such as visualization reports, summaries, or graphs/tables, but we are excited to announce that this feature is a high priority in our development roadmap. Soon, users will have access to a robust library of pre-built prompts designed to streamline the creation of professional-grade visualizations, concise summaries, and dynamic graphs or tables, enhancing productivity and creativity. In the meantime, for any assistance or custom solutions, please reach out to our support team via email, and we’ll be happy to help!

Content and File Support
Which content on the project board supports AI collaboration?

As long as there is content on the Kuse project board, you can invoke AI to ask questions or give operational commands. Specifically, you can select any content on the canvas, or use the Magic Pen to brush over any content, then input your prompt in the bottom bar and send it.

What file types are in Kuse's development plan?

Our development plan includes expanding support for additional file formats and data sources based on user feedback. To name but a few, markdown files (.md), srt files (.srt), powerpoint (.pptx). Please do not hesitate sending your file types request to us!

What types of videos does Kuse support for analysis tasks?

Currently, Kuse only supports YouTube videos with subtitles.

You need to click the【Youtube】icon in the sidebar, paste the video link in the pop-up window, and once the video is embedded on the canvas, you can ask questions about it.

What file types does Kuse support?

Currently, Kuse supports PDFs, Word doc, Excel files (.csv, .xlsx,...), Images (png, jpeg, ...) and text files (.txt).

Usability and Accessibility
Does Kuse AI offer mobile apps for iOS or Android?/ Can I use it on Safari?

No dedicated iOS or Android apps are available at this time but we are developing mobile version of Kuse AI. Stay Tuned! Currently, Kuse AI is a web-based platform optimized for desktop browsers (Safari, Chrome,...) , with tablet-responsive access via browsers. For the best experience, use a larger screen to leverage the full canvas functionality.

Collaboration and Integrations
Can Kuse integrate with Notion or Google Drive with live sync?

Kuse AI does not currently offer direct integrations with Notion or Google Drive with live sync at this time, but this is under development. Users can manually upload files from these platforms or paste links to process content. Also, users can store their information in the library.

Does Kuse support real-time collaboration?

Kuse does not currently support real-time collaboration, but it is a key feature in our September development plan. We aim to enable seamless, real-time collaboration on the canvas, allowing multiple users to work together simultaneously. At this time, users can share their projects with others via a link.
