Generate Daily AI Tool Social Posts and Schedule to Instagram and Threads with Buffer

This workflow helps you automate your social media presence by generating and publishing daily AI tool spotlights for creators. You can customize the posting schedule, the list of featured tools, the visual style of the generated images, and the tone of the captions for different platforms. It uses GPT Image 2 to create high-quality visuals and Buffer to publish the content simultaneously to Instagram and Threads. In this example, the workflow identifies a featured tool like Canva AI or Descript based on the date, generates platform-specific copy and a custom illustration, and schedules the post for 9:00 AM. Each entry is also archived as a Markdown file in your library for future reference.

What it does

1
Select a daily featured AI tool from a predefined list based on the current date.
2
Generate platform-specific captions for Instagram and Threads alongside a detailed image prompt.
3
Create a custom 1:1 illustration using GPT Image 2 that reflects the tool's core functionality.
4
Retrieve channel IDs and publish the image and text to Instagram and Threads via Buffer.
5
Save a complete record of the post, including IDs and metadata, as a Markdown file in the library.
6
Finish the execution with a summary of the published content and a direct link to the archived file.
