Review and restore file versions
Preview an earlier file version, restore it, or keep it as a separate file.
Use version history when you need an earlier state of a file. This history is separate from website publishing versions.
Preview a version
Open the file’s Version history, then select a recorded version. Historical previews are read-only. Check the timestamp and contents before choosing an action.
Restore or save a separate copy
- Restore replaces the current contents of the original file with the selected version. Read the confirmation, restore it, and reopen the latest file to check the result.
- Save as new file keeps the selected version as a separate file so you can compare or reuse it without replacing the original.
If a version is already current or the operation fails, refresh the history and check the latest file before trying again. The list only shows versions recorded for that file; it is not a backup of every change made outside Kuse.
